The Fan Association of North America generously donated funds to support The Libby Museum's Carder Fan Collection. The antique fans are now restored, thanks to the skills of artist Stephanie Blackstock Ayers. The restoration required hours of diligent work removing the fans from their frames, cleaning and repairing damage, and replacing backdrops. The fans are now far more beautiful, and ready for a display.

Given The Libby Museum's urgent restoration needs of its unheated building, we are pausing the Fan Collection's display completion until we have a temperature controlled environment. All support is greatly appreciated.

The Fan Association is open to anyone interested in the collection and conservation of antique fans, across the United States and worldwide.
